Sam Holden

Sam Holden is the Assistant Professional at Golf Garage VT and NH and the Tournament Director for the Vermont Chapter of the PGA of America. After traveling and living across the country, he and his fiancée chose Vermont as home in 2023, drawn in by its unique golf culture, tight-knit community, and passionate players. Sam brings a decorated amateur background, with wins at the junior, high school, and adult levels across both the Carolinas and Vermont golf associations, and is currently a Level 1 PGA Associate. Before joining Golf Garage, he worked as an analyst and consultant for natural resource agencies, developing online tools and mapping systems used in field operations nationwide.

At Golf Garage, Sam focuses primarily on beginners and those newer to the game, helping them build confidence from the green backward and proving that golf doesn’t need to be complicated to be fun. In addition to coaching, Sam manages Golf Garage’s social media, programming, and retail both online and in person.
